As a debut novelist, I wanted to explore the intersection of supernatural horror and family trauma, creating a world where teenage courage meets century-old evil. I draw inspiration from Southern Gothic traditions, modern horror masters, and the rich landscape of the Texas Hill Country—my home, where I'm currently working on the next chapter of Emma Bishop's story.
