Lincoln Reeves

Age 69 | Ranch Foreman | Beating Heart of Bishop Ranch

Lincoln Reeves has been the backbone of Bishop Ranch for longer than most folks have been alive. With his weathered face, gray mustache, and fierce loyalty to the Bishop family, he's as much a part of the land at Bishop Ranch as the ancient oaks that line the drive. Best friend to the late William Bishop and loyal hand and foreman through three generations of Bishops, Lincoln represents the best of what the ranch used to be—before the shadows grew so long.

Now raising his grandson Eli after unspeakable family tragedy, Lincoln carries his own grief with the quiet dignity of a man who's buried too many loved ones. He still calls Emma "Sunshine" just like her grandfather did, one of the few remaining links to happier times. Despite his gruff exterior and leather-tough demeanor, those who know him understand he's gentle as a lamb, with a heart big enough to take in any stray—human or otherwise.

His palomino mare Eirene reflects his nature perfectly: calm, steady, and peaceful even in the face of storm. But when darkness comes calling at Bishop Ranch, even Lincoln's lifetime of experience can't prepare him for what emerges from the shadows. Some things, it turns out, can't be gentled away with a steady hand and a calm voice.
